Dr. Lu Changyi is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of the Environment and Ecology, Xiamen University. His main research interests include environmental ecology, wetland ecological restoration technology, physio-ecology of marine higher plants, mangrove research, etc. Dr. Lu has led the planning and conservation of a number of important mangrove forests in Xiamen. He won the Third Prize of the State Award for Science and Technology Progress of China, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education of China, the Second Prize of the Fujian Provincial Award for Science and Technology Progress, the special government allowance of the State Council of China, the title of “Outstanding Expert of Fujian Province”, the Lu Jiaxi Award for Outstanding Supervisors, the title of “Excellent Teacher of Xiamen City”, the First Prize of the Nanqiang Award of Xiamen University, etc.
