Dr. Liu Ning is a Programme Officer of United Nations Environment Programme’s Northwest Pacific Action Plan. He has two decades of experience of enforcement of conventions and laws, working with UNEP, the General Administration of China Customs, the World Customs Organization, and the Freeland Foundation. Dr. Liu has joined Northwest Pacific Action Plan (NOWPAP) since August 2016. Together with his colleagues, they have been coordinating the regional cooperation in assessing marine and coastal environment, monitoring pollution, addressing oil spill and marine litter, conserving biodiversity, and promoting information and data exchange.
