A China-funded green sewage treatment plant, the largest in South Asia, has been in operation since April. The project includes a sewage lifting station, sewage conveyance pipeline, and a sewage treatment plant with a sewage treatment capacity of 500,000 cubic meters per day, which features green technology that aims to minimize human impact on the natural environment.
