“2021 MSR (Fuzhou) Declaration” Released for High-Quality Joint Contribution to “MSR Cultural Tourism”

Fuzhou, November 23 (Chinanews) -- The Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Summit was held on November 23 in Fuzhou. At the Summit, representatives in the field of cultural tourism from countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road (hereinafter referred to as MSR) discussed the new challenges and opportunities in the development and international cooperation of the MSR cultural tourism in context of regular international epidemic prevention and control.

This summit is one of the side events of the 7th Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival. Experts and scholors in cultural tourism, including Mr. HE Guangye, President of Asia Pacific Tourism Federation, Mr. YAO Jun, President of China Tourist Attractions Association, Mr. CHEN Dong, Secretary General of World Tourism Cities Federation, delivered speeches on topics, such as the integrated development of cultural tourism industires under the Belt and Road Initiative, the measures for high-quality joint contribution to the MSR.

The Summit witnessed the release of 2021 MSR (Fuzhou) Declaration, which put forward specific 7 points for high-quality joint contribution to the MSR cultural tourism:

To solidify the foundation for the high-quality development of the MSR cultural tourism through connectivity, coordination, joint contribution and win-win cooperation.
