Video Meeting Themed the 40th Anniversary of the Sister-City Relationship Between Fuzhou and Nagasaki Successfully Held

Fuzhou and Nagasaki city of Japan officially established sister-city relationship on October 20, 1980. The two cities held a video meeting on the morning of October 20 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the forming of the bond. You Mengjun, mayor of Fuzhou city and Tomihisa Taue, mayor of Nagasaki city attended the event and exchanged congratulatory remarks. The mayors of the two cities reviewed the achievements from exchanges and cooperation between the two cities over the past 40 years and looked forward to a bright future together. Both sides proposed that they should take the opportunity of the 40th anniversary to continue to expand areas of cooperation and work hand in hand to carry forward the friendship. At the end of the meeting, the two parties renewed the aquatic products cooperation agreement and signed agreements to establish two pairs of sister schools. In-depth talks in the areas of international exchanges, aquatic products and education were held.
