The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is located in the southeast end of Lesser Antilles, Caribbean, facing Venezuela in the west across the sea and a tropical oceanic climate. The two major ethnic groups are Indian and African people, accounting for 35.4% and 34.2% of the total population, respectively. Energy development and process is the major sector in its economy, with the production value of energy industry accounting for about 40% of its GDP. In recent years, architecture, tourism and finance and insurance have witnesses rapid development. As to tourism, its production value makes up 14% of it GDP and the number of practitioner accounts for 17% of the total employees.
