Liu Taisheng, Ph.D., currently serves as Deputy Dean of the Central Research Institute of China Dongfang Electric Corporation, Deputy General Manager of Dongfang Electric Corporation Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Executive Director and General Manager of Dongfang Electric (Fujian) Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd. He has long been engaged in the research, design, and manufacturing of high-end equipment, primarily including clean combustion equipment, advanced ultra-supercritical boilers, fourth-generation nuclear power steam generators, and flue gas purification equipment. The high-end equipment he has researched, designed, and invented has been applied in over 300 projects both domestically and internationally, generating more than RMB 2 billion in output value and over RMB 800 million in profits. He has received two first-prize and five second-prize provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards. In 2015, he was honored as an "Expert Enjoying the State Council Special Government Allowance," and in 2018, he was selected as a "Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation" under the third batch of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program."
