Dr. Pan Zhong, Ph. D., is currently an associate Researcher at the Marine Chemistry Laboratory, at the Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources of China. His main research interests are marine debris, marine microplastic pollution, etc. He has participated in many international seminars in the field of marine debris, published articles in several core journals, and participated in more than ten scientific research projects in China and the United States.
