Dr. Li Yan is currently Director of the Department of Economics and Trade, School of Maritime Economics and Management of Dalian Maritime University, and Director of the Research Institute of Trade and Investment Development, Academy of the Belt and Road Initiative at Dalian Maritime University, and is also a professor and Ph.D. supervisor. Her main research interests are marine economy and shipping economy, international trade policies and rules, global value chain, multinational corporations and international investment, trade and environment, etc. Dr. Li has presided over more than 30 national and provincial research projects including projects granted by National Social Science Fund of China and Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of Ministry of Education. By now, she has published more than 50 papers in SSCI and CSSCI journals.
