
On the evening of January 27, the opening performance of Sri Lanka's 2026 “Happy Chinese New Year” series was held at the Lotus Theatre in Colombo. The Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture National Culture Troupe from Yunnan Province presented a splendid show for the local audience, accompanied by a simultaneous intangible cultural heritage exhibition. The series of events will continue until January 31 and will also take place at multiple venues, including the Colombo Port City.
