Fuzhou, December 20 (fjsen.com) -- The First Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development, jointly hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Fujian Provincial People’s Government, opened at Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center in the morning of December 20. With the theme of “Pooling the Wisdom of Overseas Chinese Talent to Fulfill the Chinese Dream”, the Conference aims to build a national platform for “tracing origin and learning ideas, uniting Overseas Chinese and building consensus, and pooling the wisdom of Overseas Chinese for development.” 

The Conference brings together Overseas Chinese experts and technical personnel, overseas professional associations, Overseas Chinese businessmen, important science and technology societies, Overseas Chinese young entrepreneurs, and delegates from domestic science and technology parks, business circles, scientific research institutes, and high-end think tanks. Focusing on the exchange and cooperation on Overseas Chinese talents in key fields and economic development, it will be a world-class, high-level and distinctive conference for exchange and cooperation. 

The Conference features an organization of “1+4+N”, which comprises an opening ceremony and a main forum, along with 17 important activities organized separately by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Fujian Province, Fuzhou City, and organizations of chief guests, encompassing business matchmaking, entrepreneurship and innovation competitions, thematic forums, exhibitions, and side events such as chief guest presentations. 

According to the organizers, these activities include industrial academic exchanges, innovation achievement exhibitions, on-site science and innovation  competitions, Industry-University-Research-Customer cooperation, intellectual and technological achievement presentations, and entrepreneurship and innovation policy promotion, aiming to present a mind-opening intellectual feast for Overseas Chinese and a global innovation ceremony for brainstorming.
