Busy Ports in China Contribute to Improving Maritime Wellbeing

TIME:2022-02-14 09:17

China’s ports are rather busy at the Spring Festival this year, making contribution to safeguarding the stability of the global supply chain. As a major maritime country, China has upheld the principle of openness and inclusiveness in recent years to deepen maritime cooperation, establish a “blue economy partnership” and promote marine sustainable development. Just as General Secretary Xi Jinping said, the reason for China to propose jointly building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road is to facilitate maritime connectivity, pragmatic cooperation in various fields and the development of the “blue economy,” as well as to promote the integration of maritime cultures and to improve maritime wellbeing.
