On the 27th, the 6th "Maritime Silk Road" (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival was inaugurated in Fuzhou. This is the first time that the Festival has been held both online and offline with a series of exciting activities lasting until the end of the year.
At the launch ceremony, the China Tourism Academy released the "Report on Maritime Silk Road Tourism Big Data". The report has shared the information on the development of maritime silk road tourism and therefore functioned as a "barometer" in culture and tourism industry. According to the report, the maritime silk road tourism market in China has a good foundation and high recognition of tourists. And Fuzhou, with its profound cultural heritage and rich tourism resources, has become a hot tourism destination to experience maritime silk road culture.
On the same day, the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism launched the "Fujian Tour" Carnival. Themed on “Fujian Tour, Happy Tour”, nearly 600 tourism festivals, mass culture events, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, civilized tourism promotion activities were introduced. And industrial policies related to work and production resumption and consumption promotion, incentive measures to support travel agents in attracting visitors into Fujian Province, and measures for benefiting visitors in tourist attractions were launched. Among them, the promotion event of encouraging consumption by issuing culture and tourism products coupon held by Fuzhou City was launched on November 26 and will last until March 2021. A total of 10 million yuan of culture and tourism products coupons will be issued. Fuzhou citizens and all other people in Fuzhou can log in the QuickPass app to get it.
In addition to the launch ceremony, the main events of this year's Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival also include the Cultural Tourism Economic Summit Forum, the Maritime Silk Road Tourism “Double Eleven” and Fujian Tourism Expo. The four major activities are held both online and offline. At the same time, a series of side events including the 11th Hot Spring International Tourism Festival, Procurement Conference of National Traveling Salesman on Fuzhou Cultural and Tourism Products, and the Annual Conference of Maritime Silk Road Tourism Promotion Alliance will also be held.
The 6th Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival is hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Fujian Province, and organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Fujian Province and the People's Government of Fuzhou Municipality.
