The main activities of the conference included the opening ceremony and main forum, 6 thematic forums, and the achievement exhibition. At the opening ceremony and main forum, domestic and foreign organizations, experts, scholars and heads of well-known enterprises from the field of marine equipment gathered here to carry out in-depth exchanges and seek cooperation on multiple issues including technological innovation, equipment manufacturing and industrial cooperation in relevant fields. The six thematic forums held by the conference highlighted speciality, including the Asian Shipbuilding Technology Forum, the International Deep-Water Port Construction and Development Forum, the World Marine Civilization Exchange and Mutual Learning Forum, the Deep-Sea and Far-Sea Aquaculture Equipment and Industry Ecological Forum, the Green and Intelligent Development Forum of Inland Ships Forum and the International Boat Industry Development Forum.

As an important part of the conference, the achievement exhibition mainly displayed the products, technologies and solutions that have won authoritative awards in the field of marine equipment since the opening of the 18th National Congress of the Party, as well as the outstanding achievements attained in the development of marine equipment in various regions and fields in China.
